  I've been holding off on posting this review for a long time as I hate to leave such a poor review unless it is absolutely warranted, but the system this surgery has in place at the moment is simply not working for its patients.
  
  I have been informed by the reception staff that there are no appointments available for approximately 6 weeks at this time, unless it is a medical emergency. Instead they ask you to call in at 8am to see if they have any appointments (presumably cancellations) available for that day. I called three times last week at 8am, I was first in the queue, held for 30minutes each time and the call just rang out - no one answered.
  
  I realise very few people look at google reviews when choosing a doctors surgery, but if you want to have the opportunity to see a doctor within a few weeks of needing to see a doctor...this isn't likely to be the right surgery for you.
  
  Edit: I have added an extra star because once I finally managed to get an appointment it was with Dr Evans who was fantastically knowledgeable and an invaluable GP.
